Hello and welcome to The Fairytale Cottage. My name is Rhonda and I am the owner/designer/artist. I sign my graphics as RoLynne, which is a play off of my first and middle names "Rhonda Lynne". I am a self taught artist. I have been working as an artist for over 10 years now. I opened my own interior design business just shortly after my youngest daughter was born. From there I designed a children's furniture line with Jeff McWilliams who also designs furniture for Donna Dewberry. I then moved onto selling my designs/motif's in wholesale venues. After lots of hard work and trying to raise two young girls, I finally gave into the suggestions of my good friend Jenn (Posh Pagez) and started turning my artwork into graphics for sale on the web. Eventually I branched off into template design and now I offer both graphics and/or template design. |

| I have a romantic fairytale style. I have always loved fairytales and happy endings so my work is a reflection of all the things that I love. French boutiques are also a favorite as my favorite artist, Claude Monet, is from France. I love working with children and I teach art classes to kindergarten and first grade. So, my graphics often involve children and/or children's boutiques. I enjoy working with web site designers who want custom or stock graphics for their template designs. In addition, I design website templates on a custom basis and occasionally I offer pre-mades from time to time at affordable prices. I can also install your template for you. I work with Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Illustrator CS3 when I create graphics. I am able to create graphics in vector or raster based formats. Vector format is best when using my graphics for your printed materials. I do allow commercial use of my graphics on printed materials like stationary and tee shirts. When using my graphics for web design credit must be given back to The Fairytale Cottage on the pages that my graphics appear. And, all use of my graphics must be within a family friendly setting. |
It is hard to believe even for me that I have a grand baby while I am raising two daughters both under the age of 10. My oldest daughter age 22 gave birth to the most adorable little girl ever!! I of course just love her to pieces (pictured to the right). Living in another state makes spending time with her hard. But I love to visit her whenever we can. Running after two girly girls at home keeps me busy with their ballet, tap, gym and cheerleading lessons. We are all girly girl. But, there is an adventurous side. I love to camp with my family, ride four wheelers and river raft (this was my favorite trip). The Grand Canyon is one of my favorite places to be. I still paint hand painted items from time to time. And, I love to take pictures and make photo videos of all my girls and I LOVE LOVE LOVE digital scrapbooking - Shabby Miss Jenn is a fav and so is her blog. Recently, our family was hit with a big bump in the road and our journey through life will never be the same. If you still long for more info on me, I do have a personal blog I try to keep up-to-date. It is about my unexpected journey through a difficult time and is written to help others and it is also good therapy for me. I welcome comments, suggestions, networking and friendship so please feel free to e-mail me at anytime.
